Description
The anti-bedsore mattress with variable pressure systems CA-88QD is intended for people who spend more than 15 hours a day in bed, as well as for those who are at medium or high risk of developing pressure ulcers.
The traditionally accepted method of pressure ulcer control is to turn the patient over at regular intervals and regularly observe areas at risk for pressure ulcers. The use of a variable pressure mattress is intended to complement this treatment, while observing the patient and turning them as necessary should still be considered part of the treatment.
The variable pressure adjusts the mattress to the patient and their position. Alternating compressions in an appropriate rhythm helps avoid prolonged vascular pressure, which may cause tissue hypoxia and the development of pathological lesions.
